Belle Glos 2022 Dairyman Pinot Noir

Dairyman Vineyard began as dairy farm and pastureland before being planted to Pinot Noir in 2000. Located in California’s Russian River Valley, the vineyard features Dijon clones 115, 667, and 777 grown on low-vigor rootstock.

The grapes were harvested early in the morning to preserve fresh fruit character, then destemmed and cold-soaked for up to two weeks. After fermentation, the wine was aged for up to nine months in 100% French oak, including 60% new oak.

Deep garnet in the glass, this Pinot Noir opens with dark chocolate, black cherry, blackberry pie, black currant, and cedar. Layers of blackberry and raspberry pie filling meet cinnamon, chocolate, and nutmeg on a smooth, focused palate with refined tannins and a mouthwatering finish.
