Booker's Bourbon 2024-1 Springfield Batch

Booker’s got the year off to a grand start with this first batch of 2024, named for Booker Noe’s hometown in Kentucky. The whiskey is comprised of four parcels from Beam’s Clermont warehouses, averaging 7 years and 7 months in age. In classic Booker’s fashion, it’s a big one with plenty of heat, but the flavors burst through the proof to offer nougat, vanilla, warm chocolate, and sweet orange, balanced by dried herbs, oak, and tobacco, leading to an explosive finish. While the Booker’s releases always excel, this one emerged as a Top 20 favorite, packing in loads of pleasure. —David Fleming
