Basil Hayden Sr., aka Old Grand-Dad, went against the traditional "grain" in making his bourbon - with a higher percentage of rye. Passed down through generations, this recipe results in complex flavors, unmistakable spiciness, and a golden honey brown color. First bottled in 1882, very little has changed - and that's just how we like it!
